The eCommerce Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and delivering technology initiatives across the Alex Lee Retail eCommerce ecosystem, including Lowe’s Foods, KJ’s Markets, and IGA. This role partners closely with internal business teams, IT resources, and third party solution providers to analyze business needs, translate requirements, and drive execution of small to medium scope eCommerce initiatives.
This position serves as a key connector between the business and technology, ensuring eCommerce systems and projects are planned, executed, and supported effectively. In addition to ongoing system support, the role plays an active part in managing eCommerce related projects from intake through implementation, helping ensure timelines, dependencies, and outcomes are clearly understood and delivered.
• Participates in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects impacting the eCommerce technology ecosystem.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for assigned eCommerce initiatives, helping manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and communication across cross functional teams.
• Partners with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for new functionality or enhancements to existing applications.
• Coordinates work across internal teams, IT partners, and third party vendors to support successful project execution.
• Establishes and maintains support requirements, operational processes, and escalation paths for production eCommerce systems.
• Participates in functional and performance testing activities to ensure solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards.
• Acts as a liaison between eCommerce leadership, business owners, IT management, and external solution providers.
• Provides second tier application support, including scheduled on call coverage, and serves as backup support for other team members as needed.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with end users, leadership, and cross functional partners to ensure alignment from project initiation through completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in management information system.
• At least 2 years of IT-related experience OR proven, hands-on knowledge of technology systems specific to eCommerce environments.
• Experience developing Excel data sheets, PowerPoint presentations, or similar reporting tools is strongly recommended.
• Experience serving as a business analyst and leading small to medium sized projects including post implementation support.
• Must have experience implementing, supporting, and liaising with 3rd party software/solution providers.
