This internship focuses primarily on in-store POS (signage) and will also offer exposure to other marketing channels. In-store POS is a key channel that influences the shopping experience for our guests, conveying messages from price to product attributes on signs, menus, and other touchpoints. We are looking for a self-starter who is ready to hit the ground running as part of the Marketing Operations and Programming team.
Intern duties will include as follows:
- The power and effectiveness of in-store signage lies in the execution at store level. To strengthen store execution, this intern will lead a summer project developing and documenting optimal signage execution in each department. They will work with Marketing Program Manager to create a marketing signage tracker for each original concept broken out by store. They will partner with our Internal Communications team to develop a “What Good Looks Like” signage playbook, highlighting top-notch signage execution for each concept to guide store implementation.
- The intern will have a front row seat and engage in the entire POS process from initial project request, to production, to final in-store placement. They will support the Marketing Program Manager with signage requests. They will work in our creative project management platform and collaborate across the team learning about the business objective and production process for each project. Additionally, they will work with Internal Communications to ensure all deliverables and instructions are communicated to stores in a timely manner.
- Our Digital Asset Management platform (DAM) Aquia stores and catalogues final creative files of all types and allows us to easily access files needed to bring our marketing plans to life. The Intern will take all assets created during the project period and upload them to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and tag appropriately. The intern will learn how to organize files and leverage meta data to maximize file storage for ease of future use.
