Overview

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations & Programming will plan and execute strategies to attract, grow, and retain guests and ultimately drive sales. Sort, prioritize, and optimize promotional content and brand messaging to drive sales and reinforce differentiation. Maximize impact through optimizing audience, content, and channel combinations. Design, build and maintain reports on marketing KPI's. Leverage technology to orchestrate increasingly efficient and relevant activations.

Responsibilities

Master Go-To Market Plan

  1. Gather, sort, prioritize promotional content and brand messaging to orchestrate a multi-channel, audience-specific marketing plan.
  2. Work cross functionally with Brand, Private Brand, Category Management, Shopper Marketing & eCommerce to absorb plans and optimize the channel output.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the accurate representation of promotions and campaigns.
  4. Ensure timely activation of weekly, monthly, and seasonal marketing plans.
  5. Leverage performance reporting and analytics, apply learnings, and optimize marketing activations.

Personalization and Automation

  1. Fully leverage MarTech stack to drive increasingly personalized and automated content.
  2. Support loyalty activations to foster sales growth.
  3. Streamline marketing process to improve efficiencies and expand capacity.
  4. Collaborate with channel managers / platform owners to maximize platform dynamic capabilities to serve personally relevant content to our guests.

Innovation

  1. Lead test and learn model to continuously improve marketing effectiveness optimizing channels, audiences, and content.
  2. Support and manage change with ever-evolving processes and technology.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Assists Director of Marketing Communications in the management of media budget to ensure optimal investment across applicable platforms and channels.
  2. Develop and coach Marketing Program Manager
  3. Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  1. 5+ Years of Marketing Program Management experience or similar.
  2. College degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
  3. Exceptional People skills, able to influence others.
  4. Strong communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Strong organization and project management skills. Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
  6. Ability to manage complex processes. Analytical, tech savvy, and results driven.
  7. Deals well with rapid change and can lead change management with team members.
  8. Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite of products.

 

Dimensions:

Influence marketing execution across owned retail store locations and over 10,000 + hosts   

Works Cross functionally with W. Lee Flowers, MDI & Alex Lee as well as all departments within retail for program execution.
